Terms & Condition

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using AllSteps.ai (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AllSteps provides automated store analysis and actionable recommendations for Shopify merchants, including:

  • Conversion & UX checks
  • SEO recommendations
  • Customer retention
  • Theme/content/product analysis
  • Prioritized task lists and reports

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must have authority to bind the Shopify store you connect. You are responsible for safeguarding your Shopify access and any actions taken via your account.

4. Permitted Use & Shopify Scopes

We access data solely through Shopify APIs with scopes you authorize:

  • Read_themes
  • Read_content
  • Read_products

We process this data only to deliver the App’s features. You agree not to misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to circumvent security.

5. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we protect it. Upon uninstallation, we delete stored store-related data within 30 days.

6. Fees & Plans

If the App offers paid plans, fees and billing terms are shown in-app or in the Shopify App Store listing. Shopify may handle billing. Taxes may apply. Downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.

7. Service Availability & Changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features, and may schedule maintenance (announced when feasible). Analysis results are provided “as-is” and should be evaluated by qualified personnel before implementation.

9. Intellectual Property

AllSteps, its algorithms, software, UI, and documentation are our intellectual property. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your store. You retain ownership of your store data and content. Our analysis methodology and generated insights remain our IP; you receive a license to use the outputs for your store’s internal purposes.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access data or systems without authorisation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or related infrastructure
  • Use the App to violate third-party rights or laws
  • Copy or derive source code, models, or algorithms from the App

11. Disclaimers

THE APP AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RESULTS MAY VARY.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALLSTEPS AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IN ANY PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AllSteps and its affiliates against claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time in your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the App, users, or third parties. Upon termination/uninstallation, your license ends and we will delete store-related data within 30 days per the Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India (without regard to conflict-of-law rules). Courts located in Mohali, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction require otherwise.
